It's bigger and remodel and different stuff on the menu now... y'all should come out and join.

Parking may be limited but the shopping area is never too crowded. The restaurant is pretty spacious. we ordered Vietnamese family style lunch which consists of multiple dishes like fried tofu, pork, soup, and fish. These dishes are meant to be shared. the quality of food is regular nothing special. It wasn't busy when I went so ordering food and time from the moment food was ordered to when it came to the table was fast. friendly service.

4 stars for their fast and nice customer service. 3 stars for their food. 1 unit but They device by 2 now, 1 is still Pho Nguyen Hue and 1 is "quan Nhau". They have more food now than focus on Pho like before. They also have family dinner style, but it's not anymore popular since so many competitors around.

I came here last week for dinner with my friend. Figured we give this place a try since I haven't been back in years.
PARKING: Plenty of parking since it's in a shared plaza. It never gets crowded for me and I come here frequently for 3 Blossoms.
RESTAURANT: Very spacious restaurant, big enough to accommodate large parties. It was very empty for a Wednesday evening around 7pm.
MENU: Just like most other Pho restaurants, they have some rice plates, vermicelli noodles, and Pho! Most of the plates are priced around $7 - $10 depending on what you order.
Here's what I got:
Bun Rieu (3.5/5): I felt the broth could be a bit richer; it was on the bland side which required me to add more fish sauce into the soup. I like that they gave a generous amount of noodles. I wish they gave more tofu pieces and I was very iffy about the crab meatballs because I tasted more ground pork than crab.
Bun Cha Gio + Thit Nuong (4.5/5): My friend ordered this and I definitely liked this dish more than my Bun Rieu. It came in a huge boat of vermicelli noodles, chopped eggrolls, and grilled pork. It was definitely large enough to serve two, and definitely more worth your money. The only complaint I have is the fish sauce is a bit on the sweeter side, but other than that, a very enjoyable dish.
Overall experience here was good. The food came out quick since we were the only two people in the restaurant at the time. It is a little bit unsanitary, there were a couple of flies flying around my friend and I as we were eating. If you're able to look past that, I would recommend giving this place a try for their Bun Cha Gio! -

An oldie, but a goodie.
Pho Nguyen Hue is a Vietnamese restaurant in Little Saigon that has been around for a long time, reportedly around as long as I've been alive if not longer. To persist despite increasing competition every year and all the usual challenges of running a business is impressive, but I'm only basing my opinion on this one visit.
The parking lot at the northwest corner of Bolsa and Ward is a bit tight but was doable on a Memorial Day morning, and the dining room had plenty of tables on both halves of the strange partition. They seem to be running a Thai restaurant out of the same space too, although we were only presented with a restaurant for Pho Nguyen Hue.
The service and kitchen speed was lacking. Perhaps they were short-staffed because of the holiday or whatnot, but it took about 10 minutes for us to be able to place an order and 15 more minutes for us to receive the pho. That's about 400% more than expected in both instances. Fortunately, we weren't in a big hurry, but this makes me hesitate to pick this spot in the future if I should find myself lacking for time. That slowness as well as a strange plumbing issue that forced them to shut down the restroom and post necessary wet floor signs might be seen as bad omens.
Fortunately, the food was great. I had a large Pho Dac Biet ($8.25), with rare beef, flank, fatty brisket, tendon, and tripe. The broth was delicious and paired well with a squeeze of lime despite not seeming sweet. The fresh wide noodles (which I'll often choose when possible) were cooked right. The meats were all delicious, but I'd probably pick the fatty brisket if forced to choose one favorite.
One more small nitpick I had was with the usual greens that accompany the dish. Some of the Thai basil and an above average portion of the mung bean sprouts weren't completely fresh; I don't know if this reflects on the understaffing or is how they generally work, but it does draw your attention when you're just sitting at the table and staring at whatever is in front of you.
The pho was delicious and reasonably priced at Pho Nguyen Hue, and I expect to add it to my Westminster area pho rotation in the future.
